Seat covers for heated and ventilated seats
Heated and ventilated seats are two of the most-used comfort features in a vehicle. Here is how each one works with seat covers fitted.

Heated seats
Heated seats use thin heating elements under the seat upholstery. Heat passes through the surface into the cover, so heated seats keep working with covers fitted. Because there is an extra layer, the seat may take a little longer to feel warm, especially on the first cold morning.
Ventilated (cooled) seats
Ventilated seats use small fans that move air through perforations in the seat surface. A solid, non-breathable cover would block that airflow. That is why covers for ventilated seats need material that lets air through.
Our covers are made to accommodate ventilated seat features where applicable, using perforated material so air can pass through. Expect airflow to feel a little gentler than on the bare seat, but still noticeable on a hot day.
Getting the best results
- Tell us about heated or ventilated seats when you order, and include them in your seat photos.
- Fit the covers smoothly so they sit flat against the seat with no folds or gaps.
- Avoid adding cushions or towels on top, which block heat and airflow.
- On ventilated seats, use the highest fan setting for the first few minutes on a hot day, then turn it down.
Caring for perforated covers
Perforations can trap dust and crumbs. Vacuum them gently and clean with a barely damp cloth rather than wetting the surface. See how to clean and care for your seat covers.
